JSQUAD COMPETITIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following T & C's are for competitions run through the JSquad magazine. T & C's for online competions are listed as part of those individual competitions.
- Entry is open to residents of Australia, except for employees and the immediate families of AFL Publishing and the AFL.
- The promoter is Geoff Slattery Publishing Pty Ltd ACN 270 697 522 (trading as AFL Publishing) of 140 Harbour Esplanade, Docklands, VIC 3008.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Entry is by fulfilling the criteria as set out in each competition.
- The deadline to enter each competition is the date specified in AFL JSquad Magazine.
- The winners will be announced on geoffslattery.com.au/afljsquad on the date specified in AFL JSquad Magazine.
- All competitions are games of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
- Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The promoter is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected mail.
- Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing.
- The promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity and proof of age. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter.
- All entries become the property of AFL Publishing and may be used in future marketing exercises.
- If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
COMPETITION SPECIFIC TERMS & CONDITIONS
GOTTA GETTA GECKO
Gecko and Reward will provide a prize phone and prize phone plan to the 10 prize-winners. By signing this agreement and accepting the phone, the Winner is acknowledging and accepting these terms and conditions.
- The Gecko phone is designed for kids aged 6-to-10 years old. The Winner is accepting the phone and phone plan for use by their nominated child.
- The Winner, by signing this agreement, declares that they are over the age of 18 and are legally responsible for the Child who will be using the phone.
- The Winner will receive a phone plan with 40 minutes a month of standard calls for a period of 12 months. Any calls beyond the 40 minutes in a month will be charged at the standard applicable call rates. Gecko-to-Gecko calls are charged at nine cents for 30 seconds. Any unused minutes in a month cannot be carried forward to the following month.
- The Winner will receive a complete and packaged Gecko phone from Gecko. The Winner will receive a confirmation email, with the phone number, from Reward when the phone has been activated.
- In the event a phone is lost or stolen a report should be made immediately to Reward to enable a stop to be placed on the missing Phone. Lost and stolen handsets can be reported and replaced (at cost) by contacting 1300 GO GECKO.
- The mobile service does not include international or international roaming calls. Calls must be made and received wholly within Australia.
- At the completion of the 12th month, the Winner may, at their choice, choose to cease their Gecko service by notifying Reward Mobile in writing. If no correspondence is received prior to the end of the 12-month period, the Winner will automatically be defaulted to the standard $12 per month Gecko Kids Plan on a month-to-month agreement. - Reward and Gecko will not be liable for any losses or damages resulting from the use of the phone.
- The Gecko Customer Service Contact is via 1300 GO GECKO. However, before contacting customer service the Winner is asked to check the FAQ section at www.geckoworld.com.au.
